Like the in-person class, this one is in the comfort of your own space. Classes Meet for 9 Weeks on Monday and Wednesday Evenings for 3 Hours. Course requirements are good internet, a Zoom-capable computer, a microphone, and a camera. Class recordings will be made available for review.
Coast Guard Testing will be conducted in person at a convenient location.
Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV)
The Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) class is 56 hours of classroom instruction. The course is divided into four sections: Navigation General, Chart Plotting, Rules of the Road, and Deck General. All materials and testing are included in the cost. Testing will be done in the classroom. You will not have to take any tests with the Coast Guard.
We will conduct an Online OUPV Course that will meet every Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:45 pm to 8:45 pm for nine weeks beginning February 26, 2024, and May 13, 2024. There will be a live proctored exam and the conclusion of the course.
$200 Deposit to enroll and balance due at the start of the course.
