Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV)
The Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) class is 56 hours of classroom instruction. The course is divided into four sections: Navigation General, Chart Plotting, Rules of the Road, and Deck General. All materials and testing are included in the cost. Testing will be done in the classroom. You will not have to take any tests with the Coast Guard. There is a $200 Deposit to enroll, and the balance is due at the start of the course.
